The Space

Welcome to your private beach paradise! This stunning vacation home is situated just steps away from the beach, so you can take a leisurely stroll, watch the sunset or ride the waves anytime you want. And when you're ready to head back inside, you'll be greeted by stylish and comfortable dual master ensuites and a breathtaking vaulted cathedral ceiling in the entrance.

Upstairs, you'll discover four beautifully decorated rooms, including two grand ensuite master bedrooms that offer a peaceful sanctuary to unwind in after a day of beachside adventures. The bedrooms are designed to provide a comfortable and cozy ambiance, ensuring you get a good night's sleep and wake up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

The indoor/outdoor living room is the perfect spot to relax and soak up the California sun. With La Cantina doors that open to a seamless transition between the interior and exterior living spaces, you can enjoy the best of both worlds. Step outside to the covered cabana-style patio area, complete with a cozy fireplace, BBQ, and outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach. Whether you're gathering around the outdoor fireplace or grilling up some burgers on the BBQ, you'll love the laid-back coastal vibe.

The garage is fully stocked with plenty of outdoor and beach toys, including bikes with helmets and bike locks, surfboards, boogie boards, wetsuits, beach chairs, a small backpack cooler, umbrellas, and beach toys. There's even a beach wagon for hauling it all to the beach. After a fun day in the sun, rinse off in the convenient outdoor shower in the front yard.

House Rules

1. General House Rules
• Treat the Home with Care: Please treat the property as you would your own. Excessive mess or damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in additional cleaning or repair charges.
• No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited. This includes tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, and similar products. Violation will result in immediate eviction, loss of the security deposit, and a $500 cleaning fee.
• No Unauthorized Pets: Pets are only allowed with prior written permission and a $150 pet fee. Unauthorized pets may result in eviction and additional charges.
• Noise and Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Please respect our neighbors. Excessive noise complaints may result in early termination without a refund.
• No Parties or Events: Unauthorized parties or events are not allowed. Violations will result in a $1,000 fine and immediate eviction.
• No Commercial Use: Commercial film or photography requires prior written approval.

2. Check-In and Check-Out
• Check-In: From 4 PM. Early check-in may be available with prior approval.
• Check-Out: By 10 AM. Late check-outs without approval will result in a fee of $100/hour or 50% of the daily rate, whichever is greater.

3. Occupancy and Parking
• Maximum Occupancy: As specified in your booking. Exceeding the limit may result in eviction and a $200 fee per additional person, per day.
• Parking: Limited to designated areas. Unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the guest’s expense.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance
• Standard Cleaning: The home will be cleaned before your arrival. Guests must maintain general cleanliness and use designated trash bins.
• Excessive Cleaning Fees: Additional fees may apply for deep cleaning (e.g., pet feces, excessive sand, furniture stained, excessive pet hair).
• Hot Tub and Pool Use: Keep sand and debris out of the hot tub. Misuse will incur a $300 cleaning fee.

5. Damages and Security Deposit
• Report any damage immediately. Damage beyond normal wear and tear will be deducted from your security deposit or charged to your credit card.
• Lost keys or access devices will result in a replacement fee.

6. Safety and Liability
• Guest Safety: Use facilities such as pools and trampolines at your own risk. The property owner is not liable for personal injury or loss.
• Emergency Contact: For emergencies, dial 911. For urgent property-related issues, contact our 24-hour support line.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
• Cancellation: No refunds for cancellations within 60 days of arrival. Refunds for cancellations more than 60 days before arrival are subject to a 3.5% processing fee.
• Unavailability: If the property is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.

8. Additional Rules
• Trash Management: Dispose of trash properly in designated bins. Excessive trash removal may result in additional fees.
• Approved Guests Only: Only registered guests are allowed. Unauthorized guests may result in immediate eviction.

9. Final Agreement
By booking and staying at the property, you agree to these rules. Failure to comply may result in additional charges, eviction, and forfeiture of any security deposit.

"We really enjoyed our stay in Encinitas. The house was clean and made for a comfortable stay. The layout of the house works especially well for families with kids. Stonesteps Beach is the nearest beach (within two blocks), but note that beach access requires a somewhat treacherous journey down many, many stairs, which is challenging with kids. And, unsurprisingly given its name, the beach is quite rocky. We ended up going to Moonlight Beach, which is about a 10-15 minute walk (or < 5 minute drive) from the house. Moonlight Beach is considerably more crowded than Stonesteps, but much more practical for families. I have only positive things to say about the host. Nxt (in particular, Alessandro) was very accommodating and helpful and always quick to respond to any communication.

"This house is a new listing and the managers were very upfront about working out any miscommunications. Anything that I needed to address was very quickly taken care of and Alessandro was always available to answer questions. I really appreciated the effort especially over a holiday week. The location to the stone steps, local shopping and restaurants was really fun and easy. The neigborhood was quiet and friendly.
