Outside, the backyard oasis awaits your enjoyment. Lounge on the large wooden deck, dine al fresco at the outdoor dining table, or fire up the Weber charcoal grill for a barbecue feast. Take a dip in the pool, unwind in the hot tub, or rejuvenate in the outdoor sauna or cold plunge tub. After soaking up the sun, rinse off in the outdoor shower while taking in the breathtaking vistas of the city and mountains. Inside, retreat to one of the dual primary suites, each boasting a walk-in closet and an updated, clean, and modern bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower. Mount Soledad rises to an elevation of 823 feet (251 meters) above sea level, providing panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, downtown San Diego, and surrounding areas.

The area features upscale residential homes, many taking advantage of the scenic ocean and city views from the hillsides.

Popular outdoor activities in the area include hiking the trails around Mount Soledad, cycling the steep roads leading up to the summit, and visiting the memorial and cross for the views and commemorative events.

Nearby you'll find La Jolla Village, known for its luxury boutiques, renowned restaurants, and chic art galleries.

Sunny Jim's Sea Cave: Sunny Jim's Sea Cave is a unique attraction that can be accessed by a long staircase that leads down to the cave. The cave is named after a cartoon character and is a popular spot for tourists.

Birch Aquarium at Scripps: This public exploration center for the world-famous Scripps Institution of Oceanography is a great place to visit with kids. It offers ocean views and exhibits featuring marine life from around the world.

Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve: Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve is a beautiful park that offers hiking trails, picnic areas, and stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.

Other Things To Note

• Please note: this property may not be suitable for young children due to the pool and unfenced property.
• 3 night minimum stay.
• Guests must be at least 30 years of age to book.
• Driveway or street parking are available. No garage parking available although there is access to washer and dryer in garage.
• Smoking, pets and events/parties are not permitted.
• Pack n' play and high chair available for rent - $25 each plus tax
• Pool Heat Fee: Pool heating is available for $150/day in summer (June–August) and $250/day in winter (September–May). The target temperature is 80–85°F, though slight fluctuations may occur due to weather conditions. Fees are non-refundable once heating is activated.
• Guest agrees that in outside areas there is no reasonable expectation of privacy and accepts the monitoring of the outside by security cameras. Guest agrees not to tamper with the security cameras.
• As part of our standard verification process, we kindly request that the guest signs an additional agreement and verifies ID. Your comfort and security are important to us.

House Rules

To ensure a pleasant and secure stay, we ask all guests to review and comply with the following rules. By confirming your booking, you agree to abide by these policies.

1. General House Rules
• Treat the Home with Care: Please treat the property as you would your own. Excessive mess or damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in additional cleaning or repair charges.
• No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited. This includes tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, and similar products. Violation will result in immediate eviction, loss of the security deposit, and a $500 cleaning fee.
• No Unauthorized Pets: Pets are only allowed with prior written permission and a $150 pet fee. Unauthorized pets may result in eviction and additional charges.
• Noise and Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Please respect our neighbors. Excessive noise complaints may result in early termination without a refund.
• No Parties or Events: Unauthorized parties or events are not allowed. Violations will result in a $1,000 fine and immediate eviction.
• No Commercial Use: Commercial film or photography requires prior written approval.

2. Check-In and Check-Out
• Check-In: From 4 PM. Early check-in may be available with prior approval.
• Check-Out: By 10 AM. Late check-outs without approval will result in a fee of $100/hour or 50% of the daily rate, whichever is greater.

3. Occupancy and Parking
• Maximum Occupancy: As specified in your booking. Exceeding the limit may result in eviction and a $200 fee per additional person, per day.
• Parking: Limited to designated areas. Unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the guest’s expense.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance
• Standard Cleaning: The home will be cleaned before your arrival. Guests must maintain general cleanliness and use designated trash bins.
• Excessive Cleaning Fees: Additional fees may apply for deep cleaning (e.g., pet feces, excessive sand, furniture stained, excessive pet hair).
• Hot Tub and Pool Use: Keep sand and debris out of the hot tub. Misuse will incur a $300 cleaning fee.

5. Damages and Security Deposit
• Report any damage immediately. Damage beyond normal wear and tear will be deducted from your security deposit or charged to your credit card.
• Lost keys or access devices will result in a replacement fee.

6. Safety and Liability
• Guest Safety: Use facilities such as pools and trampolines at your own risk. The property owner is not liable for personal injury or loss.
• Emergency Contact: For emergencies, dial 911. For urgent property-related issues, contact our 24-hour support line.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
• Cancellation: No refunds for cancellations within 60 days of arrival. Refunds for cancellations more than 60 days before arrival are subject to a 3.5% processing fee.
• Unavailability: If the property is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.

8. Additional Rules
• Trash Management: Dispose of trash properly in designated bins. Excessive trash removal may result in additional fees.
• Approved Guests Only: Only registered guests are allowed. Unauthorized guests may result in immediate eviction.

9. Final Agreement
By booking and staying at the property, you agree to these rules. Failure to comply may result in additional charges, eviction, and forfeiture of any security deposit.
