House Rules

1. General House Rules
• Treat the Home with Care: Please treat the property as you would your own. Excessive mess or damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in additional cleaning or repair charges.
• No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited. This includes tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, and similar products. Violation will result in immediate eviction, loss of the security deposit, and a $500 cleaning fee.
• No Unauthorized Pets: Pets are only allowed with prior written permission and a $150 pet fee. Unauthorized pets may result in eviction and additional charges.
• Noise and Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Please respect our neighbors. Excessive noise complaints may result in early termination without a refund.
• No Parties or Events: Unauthorized parties or events are not allowed. Violations will result in a $1,000 fine and immediate eviction.
• No Commercial Use: Commercial film or photography requires prior written approval.

2. Check-In and Check-Out
• Check-In: From 4 PM. Early check-in may be available with prior approval.
• Check-Out: By 10 AM. Late check-outs without approval will result in a fee of $100/hour or 50% of the daily rate, whichever is greater.

3. Occupancy and Parking
• Maximum Occupancy: As specified in your booking. Exceeding the limit may result in eviction and a $200 fee per additional person, per day.
• Parking: Limited to designated areas. Unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the guest’s expense.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance
• Standard Cleaning: The home will be cleaned before your arrival. Guests must maintain general cleanliness and use designated trash bins.
• Excessive Cleaning Fees: Additional fees may apply for deep cleaning (e.g., pet feces, excessive sand, furniture stained, excessive pet hair).
• Hot Tub and Pool Use: Keep sand and debris out of the hot tub. Misuse will incur a $300 cleaning fee.

5. Damages and Security Deposit
• Report any damage immediately. Damage beyond normal wear and tear will be deducted from your security deposit or charged to your credit card.
• Lost keys or access devices will result in a replacement fee.

6. Safety and Liability
• Guest Safety: Use facilities such as pools and trampolines at your own risk. The property owner is not liable for personal injury or loss.
• Emergency Contact: For emergencies, dial 911. For urgent property-related issues, contact our 24-hour support line.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
• Cancellation: No refunds for cancellations within 30 days of arrival. Refunds for cancellations more than 30 days before arrival are subject to a 4% processing fee.
• Unavailability: If the property is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.

8. Additional Rules
• Trash Management: Dispose of trash properly in designated bins. Excessive trash removal may result in additional fees.
• Approved Guests Only: Only registered guests are allowed. Unauthorized guests may result in immediate eviction.

9. Final Agreement
By booking and staying at the property, you agree to these rules. Failure to comply may result in additional charges, eviction, and forfeiture of any security deposit.

"The host was amazing and reached out to me days prior to our stay, and was clear and thorough with check-in, all communications and responses. Check-in process was a breeze and smart lock very helpful with multiple family members coming and going. The host checked in with me each day of our stay to see if we had any questions or needed anything, and they were always so very polite! This house is very nice and well appointed throughout, including bedding, bath towels, kitchen utensils, dishes, etc. Also, we had our family dog, and the house has all hard surfaces inside, and the back yard is a real bonus for not only pets, but also there is a nice grill and patio table set for the guests to enjoy gathering and eating outside!

"Cute house had great pillows and linens and very clean. Only problem garage parking is if your car is bigger than a Honda Civic you wont be able to get your car in and of out the gararage in the alley you have to park on the street. Also need it leave more amenties for a longer stay. Cleans and bright and great walkable neighborhood with coffee shops

"We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The house was very cute and perfect for working remotely with our pup. The landscaping and backyard with the orange tree were beautiful and the house was really well situated in walking distance to so many things. Every morning we walked around the corner to the coffee shop and every afternoon we took our dog around the neighborhood to Balboa Park or the north Park farmers market, or just to check out all the cool succulents and flowers nearby. The house was well stocked with everything we could need and having laundry on site was a big plus too. Alessandro was also very responsive whenever we had questions and having a dedicated garage for our car was awesome too. We were very sad to leave and would gladly stay again!

"Loved the property and location. Yes, getting in the garage was tight, but doable. Great coffee spot with fresh pastries and breakfast sandwiches just down the street. House was clean and comfortable. A good choice.
