The Space

The home’s spacious front patio is perfect for cozy evenings, with seating for four around a fire pit and a shaded porch area for a relaxing outdoor retreat. Inside, the second floor opens to the main living space, featuring a comfortable couch, cozy chairs, and a flatscreen TV, making it ideal for unwinding after a day in the sun. Sliding glass doors lead to the second-floor balcony, where you’ll find a lounge area with bay views, a barstool table, and additional seating for enjoying the fresh ocean air. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances and an eat-in dining area for four, creating a welcoming space for home-cooked meals or takeout from nearby local restaurants. The sleeping accommodations include a primary suite on the ground floor with a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, providing privacy and convenience. Upstairs, the second bedroom also has a queen bed, flatscreen TV, and its own en-suite bathroom with a shower, while the third bedroom includes two twin beds and a TV. The third bathroom on this floor features a shower/tub combo, offering flexibility for families and groups. Mission Beach is a popular community located on a sandbar between the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay in San Diego. It is a lively take on the classic boardwalk beach town with nearly two miles of oceanfront boardwalk, numerous rental shops, and Belmont Park. The beach itself is long and wide with fun waves and is family-friendly. Mission Beach offers a wide variety of activities to do, both on land and in the water. Here are some popular activities:
*Stroll or bike along the the Mission Beach Boardwalk, which runs along the beaches on both the ocean and bay sides of the community
*Enjoy a variety of fun water activities, such as paddle boarding, kayaking, and jet skiing
*Spend a day at Belmont Park and ride the vintage rollercoaster known as the Giant Dipper
*Learn how to surf
*Play sand volleyball, basketball, or the Over-The-Line (OTL) at South Mission Beach

Other Things To Note

• Guests must be at least 25 years of age to book.
• Parking: Tandem garage parking for two small cars. Large cars will not fit in the space.
• Please note that neighborhood noise may be present, as this property is located in a vibrant, popular area.
• Pets, smoking and events/parties are not permitted.
• Pack n' play and high chair available for rent - $25 each plus tax.
• Guest agrees that in outside areas there is no reasonable expectation of privacy and accepts the monitoring of the outside by security cameras. Guest agrees not to tamper with the security cameras.
• As part of our standard verification process, we kindly request that the guest signs an additional agreement and verifies ID. Your comfort and security are important to us.

House Rules

To ensure a pleasant and secure stay, we ask all guests to review and comply with the following rules. By confirming your booking, you agree to abide by these policies.

1. General House Rules
• Treat the Home with Care: Please treat the property as you would your own. Excessive mess or damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in additional cleaning or repair charges.
• No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited. This includes tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, and similar products. Violation will result in immediate eviction, loss of the security deposit, and a $500 cleaning fee.
• No Unauthorized Pets: Pets are only allowed with prior written permission and a $150 pet fee. Unauthorized pets may result in eviction and additional charges.
• Noise and Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Please respect our neighbors. Excessive noise complaints may result in early termination without a refund.
• No Parties or Events: Unauthorized parties or events are not allowed. Violations will result in a $1,000 fine and immediate eviction.
• No Commercial Use: Commercial film or photography requires prior written approval.

2. Check-In and Check-Out
• Check-In: From 4 PM. Early check-in may be available with prior approval.
• Check-Out: By 10 AM. Late check-outs without approval will result in a fee of $100/hour or 50% of the daily rate, whichever is greater.

3. Occupancy and Parking
• Maximum Occupancy: As specified in your booking. Exceeding the limit may result in eviction and a $200 fee per additional person, per day.
• Parking: Limited to designated areas. Unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the guest’s expense.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance
• Standard Cleaning: The home will be cleaned before your arrival. Guests must maintain general cleanliness and use designated trash bins.
• Excessive Cleaning Fees: Additional fees may apply for deep cleaning (e.g., pet feces, excessive sand, furniture stained, excessive pet hair).
• Hot Tub and Pool Use: Keep sand and debris out of the hot tub. Misuse will incur a $300 cleaning fee.

5. Damages and Security Deposit
• Report any damage immediately. Damage beyond normal wear and tear will be deducted from your security deposit or charged to your credit card.
• Lost keys or access devices will result in a replacement fee.

6. Safety and Liability
• Guest Safety: Use facilities such as pools and trampolines at your own risk. The property owner is not liable for personal injury or loss.
• Emergency Contact: For emergencies, dial 911. For urgent property-related issues, contact our 24-hour support line.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
• Cancellation: No refunds for cancellations within 60 days of arrival. Refunds for cancellations more than 60 days before arrival are subject to a 3.5% processing fee.
• Unavailability: If the property is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.

8. Additional Rules
• Trash Management: Dispose of trash properly in designated bins. Excessive trash removal may result in additional fees.
• Approved Guests Only: Only registered guests are allowed. Unauthorized guests may result in immediate eviction.

9. Final Agreement
By booking and staying at the property, you agree to these rules. Failure to comply may result in additional charges, eviction, and forfeiture of any security deposit.

"Loved our stay here! Its perfectly located to all the touristy places, walking distance to the mission beach and the Belmont park. House felt new and modern. The host was super helpful and very responsive for any request we had during the stay. Will definitely stay here again the next time!
