This classic, cozy beach bungalow - surrounded by a white picket fence - is the perfect place for your vacation.
Open the gate and find yourself on a large brick patio with a comfortable outdoor couch, a small dining table, and a barbecue so you can enjoy dining al fresco after your day’s adventures - while you watch the ever-changing colors of the western sunset.
A lawn to the left is a delightful place to relax in the shade, read a book, or take a nap.
Open the door to this 3-bedroom, 2 bath, 1-story 1620 sq. ft. home and immediately to your left is a large spacious living room with a ceiling fan, a 48” flat screen TV, and lots of comfortable seating.
A convenient small desk nook is just beyond the living room if needed.
To the right of the door is a dining area with seating for 4 and a small counter with a sink. A modern kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. There are French doors that open onto the side patio where the outside dining table for 4 and the barbecue is.
Straight down the hallway from the front door to the left is a Cal-King bed in the Primary bedroom with a ceiling fan, a flat screen TV, a walk-in closet and an en-suite bath with a tub/shower combo.
Down the hallway to the right is the 1st queen guest bedroom, with a ceiling fan for your comfort. The second left takes you to a 2nd queen guest bedroom with a large closet. These 2 bedrooms share a hall bath with a shower.
This home sleeps 6 in beds with a maximum occupancy of 6. All bed and bathrooms are furnished with an ample supply of premium linens to ensure your every comfort.
Additional amenities include garage parking for 2 cars as well as driveway parking, a washer and dryer in the garage, and WIFI and cable.

The ''Shores'' area has shops, restaurants and a market within walking distance from this home, as well as rental shops for bikes, surfboards and kayaking, making it a great location for a family vacation.
Close to freeway access which is great to explore attractions such as SeaWorld, The San Diego Zoo, Petco Park, the Gas Lamp Quarter and so much more – all just a few miles away.

This home has a maximum occupancy of 6 Adults. Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced.
No smoking is allowed inside or outside any of our properties – No Exceptions!
This home (like most in this coastal area) does not have air conditioning. (No A/C).
La Jolla Shores Hideaway is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting with La Jolla Vacation Rentals.
For homes that allow pets there are certain rules that always apply. Pets are never to be left alone in the homes uncrated. If you plan on spending time away from your pets please find a doggy day care or crate your pet. You can call our office for recommendations or check the Welcome Book.
There will be a $40/Night pet fee if brining a Pet. For longer stays you can inquire about our flat weekly and monthly rates.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles in the garage. Any additional cars will need too park on the street. Please read all signage and do not block any driveways. We will not be responsible if you are towed or ticketed.
Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Boogie Boards are available to rent for an additional charge ($20/Each)

Early Check-In's and Late Check-Out's can be requested 1 week prior to check-in - But is not guaranteed - it is based on availability.

Very walkable to shops, restaurants and beach. We suggest having a car if you want to explore different areas of San Diego. If you are just coming for the beach.. no need for a car.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS:
Reservation requires payment of half of the “Total Rent” if reservation is made 15 or more days prior to your check-in. If you are reserving 14 days or less from your check in date then you will need to provide the entire balance to confirm booking.
“We do not permit any Airbnb Services or Experiences of any kind at this property. This includes third-party bookings made through the Airbnb Experiences platform.
Any guest who attempts to host or bring an Airbnb-related Service or Experience onto the premises without our prior written approval will have their reservation cancelled immediately, with no refund issued.”
RESPONSIBILITY
Guest hereby assumes all risk of damage to any and all personal property of Management and Guest, including household furniture, appliances and/or equipment, landscaping, flooring and goods during such use and occupancy. Guest hereby assumes any and all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to hold Management and Owner harmless from and indemnify Management and Owner against the same.
PETS
For homes that allow pets there are certain rules that always apply. Pets are never to be left alone in the homes unattended. If you plan to spend time away from your pet please find a doggy daycare. You can call our office for recommendations.
Due to insurance reasons, we cannot allow the following breeds: Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Akita, Bullmastiff, wolf hybrids, Chow Chow or Pit Bull breads.
USE
It is agreed that the Premises shall be used only for residential purposes, and for no other purpose whatsoever. Guest in his possession, use and occupancy of the Premises agrees to observe and comply with all restrictions, laws and ordinances affecting the Premises or occupancy thereof. Guest further agrees that no use shall be made of the Premises, or acts done which will increase the existing rate of insurance upon the Premises, or will cause a cancelation of any insurance policy covering the Premises.
SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted in any residence.
EVENTS/PARTIES
Events and parties are strictly prohibited in all our properties.
{NO NEIGHBOR DISTURBANCES: When you book with La Jolla Vacation Rentals CA – the booking includes a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for noise disturbances, over occupancy or house parties. NOISE OR CONTRACT VIOLATIONS THAT CAUSE NEIGHBOR COMPLAINTS WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EVICTION OF ALL OCCUPANTS WITH NO REFUNDS GIVEN.
HOLD HARMLESS: The undersigned Guest, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors and administrators, fully releases and discharges Manager and the Owner of the property from any and all claims, demands and causes of action by reason of any injury or whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to Guest, or any of his/her guests as a result of, or in connection with the occupancy of the premises and agrees to hold Manager and Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising there from. Neither does Manager or Owner accept liability for any inconvenience arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, and electricity, cable and WIFI connection, outside construction noises, or plumbing.
{CATASTROPHIC EVENTS & EMERGENCY EVACUATIONS:
If a catastrophe (hurricane, tornado, earthquake, flood, etc.) or any situation simply beyond our control impairs the vacation rental, La Jolla Vacation Rentals is not responsible for finding alternate lodging for the renter or for the renter's financial losses related to transportation or alternate lodging. There will be NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR EMERGENCY EVACUATIONS. Whether you own property, run a business, or rent a condo in San Diego, the threat of an earthquake, flood, or tsunami is always present during certain months of the year, and we all assume this risk. Therefore, we suggest you consider Travel Protection Insurance to secure your vacation investment and eliminate your financial risk. There will be no refunds of any kind for evacuations.
ADDITIONAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Guest, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, fully releases and discharges Manager/Owner from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action by reason of any injury or whatever nature which has or have
occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any of his/her guests as a result of, or in connection with the occupancy of the premises and agrees to hold Manager/Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising there from. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney fees and costs.
• By state law, occupancy may not exceed what is posted for each home. Maximum occupancy includes infants and children.
• You must be 25 years of age or older to book a property with us and must accompany the occupants during the entire stay reserved.
• Noise ordinances are strictly enforced in all our properties. You must respect the surrounding neighbors and any loud noise after 10:00 pm. May necessitate law enforcement intervention which will terminate your contract and result in immediate removal from the property with no refund for any remaining nights still paid for.
• No Kegs allowed.
• No parties of any kind are permitted in our homes.
• No RV`s or Campers allowed on the premises.
• You must notify La Jolla Vacation Rentals Ca immediately if any maintenance problems occur.
• No prior notice is required for La Jolla Vacation Rentals Ca or its representatives to enter the property to make necessary repairs/inspection. La Jolla Vacation Rentals Ca. will make every effort to notify Lessee prior to entering the property.
• You may not assign responsibility or sublet – you must be the intended occupant of the property during the entire stay.
• Any dog left unattended during your stay in either the home or the yard, and is barking or creating any nuisance will terminate your contract and result in immediate removal from the property with no refund given for any remaining nights paid for.
• For all properties governed by an association, Guest agrees to abide by all CCR's and Rules and Regulations provided by the association.
• Legal Fees. In the event of any legal action by the parties arising out of this Agreement, the losing party shall pay the prevailing party's reasonable attorneys fees and costs in addition, to all other awarded relief.
CHECK IN & AMENITIES:
Unless specified, check-in time is after 4:00 p.m., and checkout by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. All properties represented by La Jolla Vacation Rentals CA come fully equipped with television(s), linens, dishes and utensils and an initial supply of soap and paper goods. Other amenities vary per property.
CONDITION OF RENTAL:
The property shall be in the same condition upon departure as at check-in. Normal wear and tear excepted. Owner or its agents may enter the property at reasonable times to make repairs or provide maid service. Guest may cook in areas specifically designated for cooking. Guest must immediately notify Owner or agent of fire or other damage to property. Guest shall be liable for all acts of the family, invitees, employees, or other persons invited onto the property. Guest may not sublet or assign this rental agreement. Guest shall be responsible to return all keys and gate or garage door openers upon departure. Guest shall abide by the House Rules of the Owner, Property Manager, Condominium Association and/or the Booking Agent as provided to Guest. Guest will not smoke indoors. Guest will rinse feet of sand prior to entering the unit. No parties shall be allowed without prior consent. Additional charges may apply. No catering or outside music permitted without prior consent, additional charges may apply. Guest shall not permit any use of pool or Jacuzzi by unsupervised children or other guests, and shall keep gates closed. Guest and other invitees shall use the pool and Jacuzzi at their own risk. Guest understands that there are certain inherent risks to person and property located adjacent to the ocean or to a golf course, including the possibility of drowning or being struck by a golf ball. Guest acknowledges that the owner would not rent the property unless the Guest accepted this condition.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
Under no circumstances shall Manager/Owner be responsible for any loss, expense, damages, claims or injury direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise whatsoever, howsoever caused or incurred whether arising in contract or otherwise in law or equity as a result of rendering of the services or accommodations as described or substituted and including, without restricting the generality of the foregoing as a result of any delay(s), substitution(s), rescheduling(s) or change(s) in the provision of services or land accommodations by La Jolla Vacation Rentals Ca or by reason of military actions, revolution or acts of God, government agencies, or unforeseen circumstances or events, by any agents, owners, employees, subcontractors, servants or services as substituted; La Jolla Vacation Rentals Ca, at all times will act in good faith and use its best efforts to substitute with accommodations or services of a type as comparable as possible to those contracted. La Jolla Vacation Rentals Ca will not be liable under any circumstances, including substitutions, to refund any unused portion of booked accommodations or services. Some activities in which guests engage are especially dangerous and include scuba diving, snorkeling, deep-sea fishing, boating, golfing, swimming, boogie boarding, surfing, hiking, biking and mountain climbing. This list is not all-inclusive, but indicates some of the hazards of vacationing in San Diego. Guests may also encounter the following risks: slippery floors and stairs, especially when wet, lanais with spaces between rails (dangerous for little children), precipitous drop-offs on ocean floor, unfenced pools, faulty electrical or plumbing systems, gas BBQ grills, clean/clear sliding glass doors, and dangerous stairs or pathways, Therefore, each guest agrees that he/she is voluntarily participating in any and all activities, risks, and use of the accommodations, and hereby assumes all risk of injury, illness, damage or loss to person and property that might result, including, without limitation, any loss or theft of personal property. By booking this rental, you acknowledge that in all events and circumstances, La Jolla Vacation Rentals Ca, its officers and employees shall not be liable. La Jolla Vacation Rentals Ca reserves the right to cancel or rescind any rental agreement if it is found that the Guests are conducting unlawful activities, not abiding by the Home Owners Association House Rules, disturbing others by playing loud music, percussion, audio or instruments, or cause any loud or offensive noises, have made any misrepresentations about the nature or size of the group or use of the group or the use of the property or any other misrepresentations or any other way in breach of the rental agreement.
INSURANCE:
You understand that our insurance does not cover your belongings or damage that you cause. You agree that we are not responsible for any loss or damage during the term of the rental agreement. You agree to carry insurance covering all of your personal property located in the unit or bear full responsibility for its damage including damage from fire, water, theft, or any cause.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:
I/we, the undersigned, hereby apply for the above listed accommodation and warrant that I/we have read, understand and agree to the terms and conditions of this Vacation Rental Agreement, and I/we agree to abide by homeowners/agents/association restrictions on use of said property. I/we further understand and represent that I/we are executing this application on behalf of all parties named on the guest list.
