The Space

Welcome to an unforgettable stay on the Encinitas coastline, where the Pacific Ocean stretches out in front of you and some of the best moments happen without ever leaving home.

Set high above the beach with approximately 100 feet of ocean frontage, this incredible property was designed to take full advantage of its setting. Sweeping views extend along the coastline, while walls of glass and expansive outdoor spaces keep the Pacific at the center of the experience.

The oceanfront decks are truly the heart of the home. Start the morning outside with coffee and the sound of the waves, stretch out in the sun during the afternoon, gather for dinner overlooking the water, and end the day around the fire as the sky changes color over the Pacific. Multiple seating, dining and lounging areas give everyone plenty of room to spread out while still enjoying the view together.

Inside, high ceilings and walls of glass create bright, open living spaces with a seamless connection to the outdoors. The home offers several places to gather, whether everyone is coming together for a meal or part of the group wants a quieter space to relax.

The spacious gourmet kitchen is designed for entertaining, with generous countertops, plenty of prep space and an open connection to the dining and living areas. It’s an easy place to gather for breakfast before heading out to explore Encinitas or enjoy dinner at home after a day at the beach.

Then there is the completely different side of the property: the private saltwater pool and grotto. Surrounded by palms, tropical landscaping, natural stone and cascading waterfalls, the pool feels like a hidden oasis tucked away from the dramatic oceanfront setting. A tranquil koi pond adds another peaceful element to the lush outdoor spaces.

The home features five bedrooms, all with king beds, making it especially comfortable for couples, families and groups traveling together.

Swim surrounded by palms, relax beside the koi pond, gather in the open living spaces, enjoy dinner overlooking the Pacific, or find your favorite spot on the deck and simply watch the ocean.

And while there is plenty of reason to never leave the property, one of its greatest features is the location. Downtown Encinitas and historic Coast Highway 101 are just a few blocks away, putting restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, surf shops and nightlife within easy reach. Moonlight State Beach and Swami’s Beach are also nearby, making it easy to experience the laid-back coastal lifestyle Encinitas is known for.

Spend the day at the beach, walk into town for lunch, return for a swim, then pour a glass of wine and watch the sun disappear into the Pacific from your own oceanfront deck.

Neighborhood

Encinitas is one of San Diego’s most loved coastal communities, blending beautiful beaches, surf culture and a relaxed Southern California atmosphere with a lively, walkable downtown.

From the home, you’re just a few blocks from Downtown Encinitas and Coast Highway 101, where local restaurants, cafés, boutiques, surf shops and nightlife line the streets.

For beach days, Moonlight State Beach is nearby and offers a wide sandy shoreline along with swimming, surfing, volleyball courts, a playground and other beach amenities. Head south to Swami’s Beach, one of Encinitas’ most recognizable surf spots, also known for its bluff-top views and tide pools at low tide.

Just above Swami’s, the Self-Realization Fellowship Meditation Gardens offer a peaceful place to wander through beautifully maintained gardens while taking in views of the Pacific.

Guests can also explore nearby Cardiff-by-the-Sea and Leucadia, visit the San Diego Botanic Garden, or simply spend the day walking through Encinitas and discovering the local spots that give this coastal town so much character.

The beauty of this location is that you can enjoy a quiet oceanfront retreat while still being close to the energy of town.

- 3 night minimum stay.
- Guests must be at least 25 years old to rent the property.
- Parking is available in the driveway or street. No access to garage.
- Pack n' play and high chair available for rent - $25 each plus tax
- No pets, smoking or parties/events permitted.
- Guest agrees that in outside areas there is no reasonable expectation of privacy and accepts the monitoring of the outside by security cameras. Guest agrees not to tamper with the security cameras.
- As part of our standard verification process, we kindly request that the guest signs an additional agreement and verifies ID. Your comfort and security are important to us.
- Payment terms vary by booking channel. When processed through platforms that allow us to manage payment directly, a 10% deposit is taken at booking, with the remaining balance automatically collected after the cancellation period, as outlined in the cancellation policy. For channels where we do not manage payment, the full reservation amount is due at the time of booking.

Getting Around

This is a wonderfully walkable location for enjoying Encinitas. Downtown, Coast Highway 101, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, scenic coastal viewpoints and nearby beaches can all be reached without having to spend your entire stay in the car.

The Encinitas train station is also nearby, offering another convenient way to explore parts of the Southern California coast.

A car is helpful for venturing farther into North County and San Diego, including Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Solana Beach, Del Mar, Carlsbad and La Jolla, but when it comes to enjoying Downtown Encinitas, dining out or heading to the beach, you may find yourself happily leaving the car behind.
