Welcome to Redwood Beach Cottage! This 4 bedroom, 2 bath coastal sanctuary is perfect for families or small groups looking for a relaxing getaway. The tranquil home offers expansive outdoor space with multiple lounge areas plus pool, spa, BBQ, fire pit, chiminea, and alfresco dining! Ideally located in the distinguished neighborhood of La Jolla Shores, just 3 blocks from the sandy beaches and 1 block from boutiques, surf shops, and delectable eateries. Pets allowed on case by case basis + fee.
This graceful home invites you in with its classic, California vibe throughout. As you enter the front door, you are welcomed by a cozy family/dining space and views towards to exquisite backyard. You will appreciate the multiple sets of French doors that create seamless indoor/outdoor living. The round indoor dining table seats 6 and has a casual living room setup for overflow seating while entertaining and/or relaxing plus direct access to the yard.
The well-equipped kitchen is top-notch with Viking stainless appliances, including a double oven, microwave, and gas stove for all your cooking needs plus movable island for prep space. You will have everything you need for whipping up a tasty meal!
Unwind in the lovely and sizable living room which boasts an ambient fireplace, gorgeous white wood beams and sunny windows.
All of the bedrooms provide a spacious feel with comfortable beds, crisp linens and chic decor.
The quaint, bunk bed room is complete with two sets of french doors. One set leads to the living room and the other set can be opened up to the yard for a fresh breeze and picturesque views. There is also a desk in the room - perfect for remote work. There are two sparkling bathrooms: one has a sleek, spa-like shower with glass enclosure and the other has a combo shower/tub for those who love relaxing in a tub.
An additional desk area in the hallway is present should you need to do some extra work from home.
The outdoor space and yard is the absolute highlight of this spectacular home. The lush landscaping provides privacy and a serene atmosphere. It boasts beautiful flowers and trees alongside the delightful pool, spa, outdoor brick patio, large grassy area, sitting area by the fire pit and more! Al fresco dining is a must since you will have a long table with 8 seats, plus there is an additional seating area with benches, chairs, table and chiminea. Take advantage of outdoor cooking with the BBQ as well!
Lounge chairs are yours for soaking in the sun! Or enjoy a shady reprieve while reading a book under one of the multiple umbrellas. As the sun starts to set, enjoy a refreshment or aperitivo in the spa as twilight takes over day and leisure continues through the evening. There are 4 driveway parking spaces for your convenience. La Jolla Shores is a quaint and relaxed neighborhood with a beautiful beach and plenty of amenities. Its proximity to first-class shopping, dining, and entertainment make it an attractive destination for visitors and locals alike. It is known for its sprawling beachfront, which is widely considered to be one of the best in the entire San Diego area. The community also has a fantastic park for kids and ample ocean and outdoor activities.

- This is a quiet, residential neighborhood - please be courteous of the neighbors.
- No parking 2nd and 4th Thursday from 7:00am - 11:00am due to street sweeping in front of the property.
- No garage parking - driveway only.
- Pool and spa use is not permitted after 10:00pm.
- Pool Heat Fee: Pool heating is available for $150/day in summer (June–August) and $250/day in winter (September–May). The target temperature is 80–85°F, though slight fluctuations may occur due to weather conditions. Fees are non-refundable once heating is activated.
- Guests will need to bring/buy their own firewood if they would like to use the fire pit.
- Pets allowed on a case by case basis. Pet fee is $100 per day.
- As part of our standard verification process, we kindly request that the guest signs an additional agreement and verifies ID. Your comfort and security are important to us.

La Jolla Shores Beach: This is one of the best beaches in San Diego for families, with plenty of soft sand and amenities to set up camp or lay out a towel for a quintessential Southern California beach day.

La Jolla Underwater Park: This park offers a variety of activities such as kayaking, swimming, and snorkeling tours.
Kellogg Park: This is a long, grassy area that is adjacent to La Jolla Shores beach. It’s playground, picnic areas, volleyball courts, and large parking lot and proximity to the beach make it convenient for everyone.

1. General House Rules
• Treat the Home with Care: Please treat the property as you would your own. Excessive mess or damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in additional cleaning or repair charges.
• No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited. This includes tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, and similar products. Violation will result in immediate eviction, loss of the security deposit, and a $500 cleaning fee.
• No Unauthorized Pets: Pets are only allowed with prior written permission and a $150 pet fee. Unauthorized pets may result in eviction and additional charges.
• Noise and Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Please respect our neighbors. Excessive noise complaints may result in early termination without a refund.
• No Parties or Events: Unauthorized parties or events are not allowed. Violations will result in a $1,000 fine and immediate eviction.
• No Commercial Use: Commercial film or photography requires prior written approval.
2. Check-In and Check-Out
• Check-In: From 4 PM. Early check-in may be available with prior approval.
• Check-Out: By 10 AM. Late check-outs without approval will result in a fee of $100/hour or 50% of the daily rate, whichever is greater.
3. Occupancy and Parking
• Maximum Occupancy: As specified in your booking. Exceeding the limit may result in eviction and a $200 fee per additional person, per day.
• Parking: Limited to designated areas. Unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the guest’s expense.
4. Cleaning and Maintenance
• Standard Cleaning: The home will be cleaned before your arrival. Guests must maintain general cleanliness and use designated trash bins.
• Excessive Cleaning Fees: Additional fees may apply for deep cleaning (e.g., pet feces, excessive sand, furniture stained, excessive pet hair).
• Hot Tub and Pool Use: Keep sand and debris out of the hot tub. Misuse will incur a $300 cleaning fee.
5. Damages and Security Deposit
• Report any damage immediately. Damage beyond normal wear and tear will be deducted from your security deposit or charged to your credit card.
• Lost keys or access devices will result in a replacement fee.
6. Safety and Liability
• Guest Safety: Use facilities such as pools and trampolines at your own risk. The property owner is not liable for personal injury or loss.
• Emergency Contact: For emergencies, dial 911. For urgent property-related issues, contact our 24-hour support line.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
• Cancellation: No refunds for cancellations within 60 days of arrival. Refunds for cancellations more than 60 days before arrival are subject to a 3.5% processing fee.
• Unavailability: If the property is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.
8. Additional Rules
• Trash Management: Dispose of trash properly in designated bins. Excessive trash removal may result in additional fees.
• Approved Guests Only: Only registered guests are allowed. Unauthorized guests may result in immediate eviction.
9. Final Agreement
By booking and staying at the property, you agree to these rules. Failure to comply may result in additional charges, eviction, and forfeiture of any security deposit.
