The Space

This beach abode boasts a lovely large patio situated right on the boardwalk, perfect for people-watching and ocean-gazing due to its incomparable location. The outdoor space features ample outdoor seating, an umbrella for shade, and a small table ideal for casual sunset dining. There is also a BBQ grill and lounge chairs for your enjoyment. Inside, the living room offers a comfy sectional couch, a ceiling fan, a flatscreen TV, plus a sliding glass door that opens up to the beachfront patio, blending indoor comfort with outdoor beauty. The updated kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, bar seating for two, and a bistro table for two, making it a seamless space for cooking and dining. The first bedroom features a king bed, a flatscreen TV, and ample closet space. The second bedroom has a queen bed, a flatscreen TV, and a ceiling fan to ensure a comfortable stay. Additional amenities include a stacked washer/dryer for your convenience and parking options with one space in the garage (small car) plus one tandem parking spot in the driveway. Mission Beach is a popular community located on a sandbar between the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay in San Diego. It is a lively take on the classic boardwalk beach town with nearly two miles of oceanfront boardwalk, numerous rental shops, and Belmont Park. The beach itself is long and wide with fun waves and is family-friendly. Mission Beach offers a wide variety of activities to do, both on land and in the water. Here are some popular activities:
*Stroll or bike along the Mission Beach Boardwalk, which runs along the beaches on both the ocean and bay sides of the community
*Enjoy a variety of fun water activities, such as paddle boarding, kayaking, and jet skiing
*Spend a day at Belmont Park and ride the vintage rollercoaster known as the Giant Dipper
*Learn how to surf
*Play sand volleyball, basketball, or the Over-The-Line (OTL) at South Mission Beach
*Picnic at grassy Mission Beach Park
*Visit SeaWorld San Diego, the world-famous marine life adventure park

Other Things To Note

• 30 day + minimum stay. Application ($50) and lease required.
• Guests must be at least 25 years of age to book.
• Parking: There is one parking space in the garage and one tandem parking in driveway. Garage is for
small vehicles only. Not suitable for large vehicles.
• Pets ok with prior approval and $150 fee per pet.
• Smoking and events/parties are not permitted.
• Pack n' play and high chair available for rent - $25 each plus tax
• Fireplace is not operable.
• Guest agrees that in outside areas there is no reasonable expectation of privacy and accepts the monitoring of the outside by security cameras. Guest agrees not to tamper with the security cameras.
• As part of our standard verification process, we kindly request that the guest signs an additional agreement and verifies ID. Your comfort and security are important to us.

Walk or bike anywhere in the immediate and surrounding neighborhood! You are truly just steps from the beach, bay, parks, boardwalk, dining, and activities.

House Rules

To ensure a pleasant and secure stay, we ask all guests to review and comply with the following rules. By confirming your booking, you agree to abide by these policies.

1. General House Rules
• Treat the Home with Care: Please treat the property as you would your own. Excessive mess or damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in additional cleaning or repair charges.
• No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited. This includes tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, and similar products. Violation will result in immediate eviction, loss of the security deposit, and a $500 cleaning fee.
• No Unauthorized Pets: Pets are only allowed with prior written permission and a $150 pet fee. Unauthorized pets may result in eviction and additional charges.
• Noise and Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Please respect our neighbors. Excessive noise complaints may result in early termination without a refund.
• No Parties or Events: Unauthorized parties or events are not allowed. Violations will result in a $1,000 fine and immediate eviction.
• No Commercial Use: Commercial film or photography requires prior written approval.

2. Check-In and Check-Out
• Check-In: From 4 PM. Early check-in may be available with prior approval.
• Check-Out: By 10 AM. Late check-outs without approval will result in a fee of $100/hour or 50% of the daily rate, whichever is greater.

3. Occupancy and Parking
• Maximum Occupancy: As specified in your booking. Exceeding the limit may result in eviction and a $200 fee per additional person, per day.
• Parking: Limited to designated areas. Unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the guest’s expense.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance
• Standard Cleaning: The home will be cleaned before your arrival. Guests must maintain general cleanliness and use designated trash bins.
• Excessive Cleaning Fees: Additional fees may apply for deep cleaning (e.g., pet feces, excessive sand, furniture stained, excessive pet hair).
• Hot Tub and Pool Use: Keep sand and debris out of the hot tub. Misuse will incur a $300 cleaning fee.

5. Damages and Security Deposit
• Report any damage immediately. Damage beyond normal wear and tear will be deducted from your security deposit or charged to your credit card.
• Lost keys or access devices will result in a replacement fee.

6. Safety and Liability
• Guest Safety: Use facilities such as pools and trampolines at your own risk. The property owner is not liable for personal injury or loss.
• Emergency Contact: For emergencies, dial 911. For urgent property-related issues, contact our 24-hour support line.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
• Cancellation: No refunds for cancellations within 30 days of arrival. Refunds for cancellations more than 30 days before arrival are subject to a 4% processing fee.
• Unavailability: If the property is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.

8. Additional Rules
• Trash Management: Dispose of trash properly in designated bins. Excessive trash removal may result in additional fees.
• Approved Guests Only: Only registered guests are allowed. Unauthorized guests may result in immediate eviction.

9. Final Agreement
By booking and staying at the property, you agree to these rules. Failure to comply may result in additional charges, eviction, and forfeiture of any security deposit.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-month stay during the renovation of our nearby home. The location and setting are amazing. The unit was spacious and comfortable, and parking was convenient. The host/ property management company communicated well and made sure we had everything we needed prior to and during our stay. We will miss being there!
