The Space

As you approach the home, you are greeted by a beautiful front porch with dual rocking chairs, perfect for enjoying the serene surroundings. Step inside and you’ll find a chic foyer that sets the tone for the rest of the home. The open concept living area seamlessly connects the living room, dining room, and kitchen, creating a spacious and airy atmosphere. The living room is designed for comfort, featuring a cozy fireplace, multiple seating options, and a large flatscreen TV for your entertainment. The kitchen is a chef's delight, complete with an island that has barstool seating for four, high-end appliances, and is well-appointed with everything you need for meal prep and entertaining. Bedroom 1 features a king bed, a large walk-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a large glass-enclosed shower. Bedroom 2 also offers a king bed, providing a restful retreat. The side yard is an outdoor oasis with an inviting outdoor couch, a dining table with seating for six, a BBQ, and an oversized Connect Four game, providing fun for all ages. Additional amenities include a sauna for relaxation, a laundry room equipped with a washer and dryer, 3 on-site dedicated parking spaces, an A/C mini split system to keep you cool in warm weather, and an EV charger for eco-friendly travelers. Please note: this rental is for the main, first floor of the residence only. The second story will not be accessible, but you may book the entire home as well by contacting management.

The area is highly walkable, benefiting from the sunny San Diego weather. Balboa Park is not only a cultural oasis with 18 museums, numerous gardens, and the world-famous San Diego Zoo, but also a hub for various cultural events and activities throughout the year.

Other Things To Note

• 2 night minimum stay.
• Guests must be at least 25 years of age to book.
• Parking: There is free parking available for up to 3 vehicles on-site.
• Smoking, pets and events/parties are not permitted.
• Pack n' play and high chair available for rent - $25 each plus tax
• Guest agrees that in outside areas there is no reasonable expectation of privacy and accepts the monitoring of the outside by security cameras. Guest agrees not to tamper with the security cameras.
• As part of our standard verification process, we kindly request that the guest signs an additional agreement and verifies ID. Your comfort and security are important to us.
• Unit comes equipped with a Keurig Coffee Maker for you to enjoy a morning cup of coffee.

Getting Around

Walk around the beautiful neighborhood of Marston Hills, through exciting Hillcrest or take a short ride-share straight to bustling Downtown. The famous San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park are mere minutes away. The options are endless for activities, dining and entertainment!

House Rules

1. General House Rules
• Treat the Home with Care: Please treat the property as you would your own. Excessive mess or damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in additional cleaning or repair charges.
• No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited. This includes tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, and similar products. Violation will result in immediate eviction, loss of the security deposit, and a $500 cleaning fee.
• No Unauthorized Pets: Pets are only allowed with prior written permission and a $150 pet fee. Unauthorized pets may result in eviction and additional charges.
• Noise and Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Please respect our neighbors. Excessive noise complaints may result in early termination without a refund.
• No Parties or Events: Unauthorized parties or events are not allowed. Violations will result in a $1,000 fine and immediate eviction.
• No Commercial Use: Commercial film or photography requires prior written approval.

2. Check-In and Check-Out
• Check-In: From 4 PM. Early check-in may be available with prior approval.
• Check-Out: By 10 AM. Late check-outs without approval will result in a fee of $100/hour or 50% of the daily rate, whichever is greater.

3. Occupancy and Parking
• Maximum Occupancy: As specified in your booking. Exceeding the limit may result in eviction and a $200 fee per additional person, per day.
• Parking: Limited to designated areas. Unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the guest’s expense.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance
• Standard Cleaning: The home will be cleaned before your arrival. Guests must maintain general cleanliness and use designated trash bins.
• Excessive Cleaning Fees: Additional fees may apply for deep cleaning (e.g., pet feces, excessive sand, furniture stained, excessive pet hair).
• Hot Tub and Pool Use: Keep sand and debris out of the hot tub. Misuse will incur a $300 cleaning fee.

5. Damages and Security Deposit
• Report any damage immediately. Damage beyond normal wear and tear will be deducted from your security deposit or charged to your credit card.
• Lost keys or access devices will result in a replacement fee.

6. Safety and Liability
• Guest Safety: Use facilities such as pools and trampolines at your own risk. The property owner is not liable for personal injury or loss.
• Emergency Contact: For emergencies, dial 911. For urgent property-related issues, contact our 24-hour support line.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
• Cancellation: No refunds for cancellations within 30 days of arrival. Refunds for cancellations more than 30 days before arrival are subject to a 4% processing fee.
• Unavailability: If the property is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.

8. Additional Rules
• Trash Management: Dispose of trash properly in designated bins. Excessive trash removal may result in additional fees.
• Approved Guests Only: Only registered guests are allowed. Unauthorized guests may result in immediate eviction.

9. Final Agreement
By booking and staying at the property, you agree to these rules. Failure to comply may result in additional charges, eviction, and forfeiture of any security deposit.
